Türkçede geçişlilik her ne kadar anlamsal bir olgu olarak tanımlansa da çoğunlukla katı söz dizimsel ölçüte, yani en az iki üyeli fiillerin cümlede sadece yükleme durumunda Nesne almasına bağlanmıştır. Geçişliliğin farklı yapı ya durum çerçeveleriyle kodlanabileceği göz ardı edilmiş ve tek tip tasarlanmıştır. Ancak geçişliliğin dereceleri vardır fiilleri ölçüte dayanarak geçişli geçişsiz diye keskin sınıfa ayırmak mümkün değildir. İki (2) üç (3) fiiller çok, yüksek düşük geçişlidir ölçeğinde hiyerarşik sıralanır. Diller geçişliliği imkânları ölçüsünde belirli formal yapılarla kodlar. geçişlilik, yabancı dillerin geçişlik kodlama imkânlarına koşut biçimde [YAL-YÜK] çerçevsine indirgenmiştir. Türkçenin diğer dillere nispeten vardır. Bu çalışmada derecelerini geçişliliğe kodladığı iddia edilmiştir. Geçişli fiil ayrımında geleneksel kullanılan ölçütlerin Türkçe tanımlayamadığı, kodlamanın ekli tamlayıcıyla kısıtlanamayacağı ileri sürülmüştür. We show that a transitive and open self-map of a compact metric space satisfying a certain expanding condition is strongly transitive.
